On March 30, the Kikilo Cup 2025 ski tournament will take place in Gudauri.  

The competition has been held since 2021 and is named after Kikilo, Zurab Vashakidze.  

Zurab Vashakidze played a key role in developing various sports in Georgia, including promoting cycling and equestrian tourism, establishing Gudauri as a winter sports center, and founding ski schools in Gudauri, Bakuriani, and Telavi. He introduced and developed freestyle skiing in Georgia.  

⛷️ Kikilo was Gudauri’s oldest ski instructor.  

The Kikilo Cup is held in the giant slalom discipline, featuring two age categories:  

   - Under 50  

   - 50 and over (both men and women)

On-site registration will also be available at the Café CUB on March 30, from 10:00 to 10:30 AM.  

The tournament is organized by Café CUB with the support of Gudauri enthusiasts, M.T.A. Mountain Trails Agency, and GMRBA - Georgia’s Mountain Resorts Business Association.
