Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili, conducted an informational meeting for representatives of the tourism sector and the media regarding the planned 2023 World Championship in Bakuriani.

According to Kvrivishvili, the World Championship project involved the construction of new cable cars, artificial snowmaking systems, artificial water reservoirs, and six new competition trails in Bakuriani. Additionally, special equipment and safety inventory were procured, with a total investment of approximately 265 million GEL.

The Bakuriani World Championship is scheduled to take place from February 16 to March 5 and is organized with the support of the Government of Georgia, the Mountain Tracks Agency, and the Ski Federation of Georgia.
