To ensure high-quality conditions for the Freestyle, Snowboard, and Ski Cross World Championships, an artificial snowmaking system were installed in Bakuriani, covering the Didveli, Kokhta, and Mitarbi ski areas. The project was carried out by TechnoAlpin, the leading manufacturer of snowmaking systems worldwide. The snowmaking infrastructure, which includes a 29 km long ski road, was completed in December 2022.
